The Holy Spirit:

Hovered over the waters at Creation.

Is not a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Sounds like a mighty rushing wind and blows where it wishes.
Descended from Heaven like a dove.
Is Eternal.
Is Immutable.
Is Omniscient.
Is Omnipotent.
Is Sovereign.
Conceived Jesus.
Makes us alive in Jesus.
Edifies the Church.
Unifies the Church.
Breathed out Scripture for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness.
Gives us eyes to see, ears to hear and hearts to understand.
Is how God’s presence abides on earth.
Guides and leads us.
Sustains us.
Convicts us.
Comforts us.
Preserves us.
Humbles us.
Will be with us forever.
Enables us to forgive.
Gives us the words to pray.
Opens our lips so we can praise and worship God.
Reveals the fullness of the fellowship of the Trinity to us.
Is Christ’s gift to his “blood bought” children.
Protects us.
Is the Helper.
Is our Advocate.
Helps us to remember.
Indwells, upwells and fills all who believe in Jesus.
Helps us to know our Father is real.
Intercedes for us.
Helps us when we are weak.
Helps us fix our eyes on the author and perfector of our faith, who is Jesus.
Heals us physically and spiritually.
Is the “Breath” of life.
Illuminates the Word of God for us.
Spoke through the prophets and apostles and was poured out at Pentecost.
Is a witness to Christ’s promises.
Is the “Guarantee" for Heaven.
Gives us spiritual gifts for ministering to others.
Empowers “worldwide” witness.
Knows God the Father and God the Son “exhaustively”.
Securely “seals” believers as God’s Children.
Empowers us to recognize and repent from sin as we live for God.
Justifies us before a Holy God.
Guides us into truth, instilling the desire and power to live a transformed life of being more like Jesus.
Is the indispensable gift of God to one’s life.

With the Holy Spirit, we have all things for Godliness in this life AND for the resurrection life in the age to come.
